Miles Barton specialises in antique pictures from the 17th century through to more recent periods. Though not exclusively, the emphasis is on historic portraiture and the glories of that subject in the hands of the variety of talented, often over looked, painters in Britain that worked across the years in this endeavour. With a distinct interest in the 18th century and occasional striking images from more modern times, there is always a broad range available which can include just about anything if deemed to be of historical interest.
Encompassing British and European artists the ever changing selection includes oil paintings, drawings, pastels and other complimentary works of art such as sculpture all at an affordable level. Items are available for viewing in London during the week at the Langston Gallery in Ebury Street just off the Pimlico Road, Belgravia, a short walk from both Victoria and Sloane Square
